oscillations of a particle help
This is for a particle of unit mass:
1.If E<0 what are the turning points as a function of E?
2.How would you expand the potential around the equilibrium point and take the harmonic approximation to find the period?
3.Show that this is consistent for small oscillations.
Sorry this is such a long question. I have really struggled with it so any help would be really appreciated.

At a guess we need the diagram. Try reposting it. I'm guessing it has a graph?
In general for E < 0 we have a particle in a potential well. In this case if you sketch in a line with a specific E then the end points of the oscillation will be where the E line intersects the potential well.
