    Hello, qbkr21!

    I am trying to get . \frac{1 + 2^n}{3^n} .into the form: . ar^{n-1}
    It can't be done . . .

    The sequence is: . \frac{3}{3},\:\frac{5}{9},\:\frac{9}{27},\:\frac{1  7}{81},\:\frac{33}{243},\:\cdots

    There is no common ratio r . . . It is not a geometric sequence.
