AREA Calculus AB
Hello, my name is Elton and I am working on my homework for AP Calculus. I am using Houghton Mifflin's Calculus of a single variable: eighth edition. Currently, I am on section 4.2 which is mainly based on area. If anyone understands it completely, can you please put it in laymen's terms? I really don't understand it and this work was due on Friday, but I got an extended due date.
PS: Everything seems to be in a whole another language to me. (Headbang)

Re: AREA Calculus AB
Hey ABxLightning.
Which part don't you understand? If you make the question specific you will get a more specific directed answer.

Re: AREA Calculus AB
I agree with chiro. There are a number of topics mentioned in that section, ranging from simple geometry to "preCalculus". We really need more information on exactly what you are asking about.

Re: AREA Calculus AB
I need help with almost the entire section, but mainly, I don't understand the exercises dealing with Sigma's and what they mean. What is the notations above and below the sigma's mean?
