Need Logarithms help
Started online calculus. Tough learning alone.
Anyone know how to solve x^-2.2=4127
also 4e^(x-2)=1325

1.) I would rewrite the equation as:

$x^{-\frac{11}{5}}=4127$

Raise both sides to a power of $-\frac{5}{11}$. What do you find?

2.) Divide through by 4 to get:

$e^{x-2}=\frac{1325}{4}$

Convert from exponential to logarithmic form. What do you find?

My calculator shows the last digit of your result for 1.) to be a 6. However, unless you are asked to give a decimal approximation, I would give the exact result.
