Where c_{1 }and c_{2 }are scalars and **v**_{1 }and **v**_{2} are vectors

As stated the problem has an infinite number of solutions!

Here are two possible solutions...

$\displaystyle c_1=5,v_1=<1,0>,c_2=1,v_2=<0,1>$

or

$\displaystyle c_1=1,v_1=<5,5>,c_2=-2,v_2=<0,2>$

Yes, I think you might have neglected to tell us what $\displaystyle \bold{v_1}$ and $\displaystyle \bold{v_2}$ are....

If that's the case, you would just need to set up and solve two equations in two unknowns.
