    Calculus autodidacticy conundrum...

Ok, Ive been teaching myself calculus using Calculus for dummies and Calculus demystified, Im almost done and im ready to move on to calculus two. However, im not sure if calc 2 isnt already covered in those books.

The books cover both diff and int calculus and from what a brief google search told me, calculus 2 is basically integral calculus, yes?

btw I recommend anyone teaching themselves calculus to use both of those book. dummies explains it better, but demystified has a lot more practice problem, even more than the dummies workbook.

    Hey Nervous.

The courses can be different from area to area, but the key idea in Calc II when I took it was looking at Integral Calculus (substitution, by parts, chain rule), partial fractions, series and convergence (or divergence), limits and evaluating them, as well as some basic ideas for differential equations (just some intro stuff).

They were the main areas covered when I took it and they might be different for you.

Haven't seen anything on differential equations yet, but the rest I've either done or am getting to it.
