At which point will the curve have a slope 0. 1 .-1

Given https://www.baruch.cuny.edu/webwork2...dddfe98391.png at which point will the curve have a slope (a) 0, (b) 1, (c) -1

All the answers MUST be points.

(a) The point where the slope is 0 is _____

(b) The point where the slope is 1 is _____

(c) The point where the slope is - 1 is _____

Re: At which point will the curve have a slope 0. 1 .-1

set f'(x) = 0 , 1, and -1 and solve for x, then determine f(x) for each value you solved for.

Re: At which point will the curve have a slope 0. 1 .-1

f'(x) = 4x - 6 = 0 , x= 3/2

= 4x - 6 = 1 , x= 7/4

= 4x -6 = -1 , x= 5/4

Is that correct so far?
