Thread: Rational and input/output question

Can anyone help me with these questions? I tried them but I couldn't get the answer right...any help would be awesome!

I think you have misunderstood what this forum is about. We will be happy to help you with problems but we will do them for you! You say you have tried them. Okay, show us what you have tried so we can point out mistakes or make suggests as to how to proceed. I would also suggest that you post just one of these problems to a thread.

Can you outline what you have tried (even if its only a partial attempt)? Also it would be useful to give context to your question by saying the kinds of things you are studying in relation to these questions.

Sorry for the late reply, and sorry guys! I only tried the second question, the first one I didn't understand at all.
For the second one I got

y=5C+10VC
x=20C+5VC
and the cost function as 0.30x+0.20y and I get lost after that :/
