    When will drawing a secant line to estimate avg rate of change be accurate?

    I mean physically drawing a secant line between two points on a graph.

    Hey hunnyelle.

    You need to consider what the rest of function looks like between the two points. What happens if most of the points in-between are very far away from these points?
