    Curve sketching in calculus 3

    Sketch the curve with the given vector equation and indicate with the arrow the direction of the curve: a) r(t)=<1+t, 2+t, 3+2t>

    Do they really expect us to sketch a three-dimensional graph?


    \text{Sketch the curve with the vector equation: }\:\vec r(t) \:=\:\langle 1+t,\:2+t,\:3+2t\rangle
    \text{and indicate with the arrow the direction of the curve.}

    \text{This is a straight line through the point }(1,2,3)
    . . \text{with direction vector }\vec v \:=\:\langle 1,1,2\rangle

    Would it also go through the point (2,3,5)? I've seen people post pictures of graphs on here before so I just wondered if anyone could.
