optimizing space on paper
A rectangular page is to contain http://edugen.wileyplus.com/edugen/s...=1343834325677 square inches of printable area. The margins at the top and bottom of the page are each http://edugen.wileyplus.com/edugen/s...=1343848723444 inch, one side margin is http://edugen.wileyplus.com/edugen/s...=1343848723444 inch, and the other side margin is http://edugen.wileyplus.com/edugen/s...=1343848723444 inches. What should the dimensions of the page be so that the least amount of paper is used?
Side-to-side width= inches?
Top-to-bottom height= inches?
Re: optimizing space on paper
Did you copy and paste? How come I don't see any numbers?
Re: optimizing space on paper
The OP's questions all have the mathematical symbols posted as images, which do not show up ><
Re: optimizing space on paper
Ah. For some reason I couldn't even see the symbols, I just thought the numbers were intentionally omitted or something. I still don't see any numbers >.<
