Thread: Arc Length Problem Issue

I've attached a screenshot of a problem that it is giving me trouble. My issue is that I can't figure out which step im omitting when I try to solve similar problems. Why are the values for the defined integral changing in the stage I have drawn the arrow to?

When they changed to an integral in terms of u, they have had to change the bounds to the values of u at those particular values of y.
