Show that the function f(x) = 1/squareroot(x) has neither the maximum value or the minimum value on (1,2).

maximum: lim f(x) as x-> 0 = infinity which is not in (1,2).

minimum: lim f(x) as x-> infinity = 0 which is not in (1,2).

Is this correct?
