    derivative question

    if x^2+y^3=(x^3)(y^2), then dy/dx=

    I have no idea where to even start. Can someone shed some light on this please? thanks

    Use implicit differentiation.

    Take the derivative, and apply the chain rule to $\displaystyle y,$, finally, make $\displaystyle y'$ the subject of the equation.
