    how to evaluate these limits

Hello, I am unsure of what procedure or method I should use to find these two limits.
Can someone please tell me the best way to go about solving them.

    Thanks kindly for any help.

    limit x tending to zero
    cos(x2+pi)

    limit x tending to zero
    4/ln(x4)

    The first function is continuous at x = 0, so substitute x = 0.

For the second, you should know that log(x) approaches -infinity when you make x approach 0 from the right. Since log(x^4) is an even function, it will approach the same value as you make x go to 0 from both sides. So what do you think log(x^4) will approach? What happens when you divide 4 by this?
