# Thread: stuck on integral with e fraction

This is an indefinite integral to find:

$\int \frac{e^{3x} + 4}{e^{2x}} dx$

This is a second year A level course (C3) so not university level. We have covered integrating exponential functions, 1/x and f'(x)/f(x) but I cant work out how to do this one.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Take into account that...

$\frac{e^{3x}+4}{e^{2 x}}= e^{x}+4\ e^{-2 x}$
