Write expression as a single integral

I dont have any idea how to do this...

I also dont know how to do the notation for the forums, so please bear with me

    f(x)dx + f(x)dx

the first one's interval is 2(top), 0 the second is 3(top) 2 bottom.

Re: Write expression as a single integral

    You mean simplify this:

    \int_{0}^{2}f(x)\,dx+\int_{2}^{3}f(x)\,dx?

Incidentally, the code I used to produce this was

    [TEX]\int_{0}^{2}f(x)\,dx+\int_{2}^{3}f(x)\,dx?[/TEX].

Try taking a look at the additivity of integration property here. Does that give you an idea?
