Let f(x)= tan x+ 5 cos x. produce graphs of f that reveal all the important aspects of the curve. in particular, you should use graphs of f' and f" to estimate the intervals of increase and decrease, extreme values, intervals of concavity, and inflection points. all of your mathematical work should be in this handout (it is ok to skip some steps, but make sure you show and clearly label important equations like f', f", etc). clearly label and submit as many graphs of f, f', and f" demonstrating your analysis and use of calculus in obtaining information to draw out the detailed graph of f(x). your final graph must clearly point out intercepts, inflection points, local max./min., etc.

I had done ten times making the graph by a program called winplot but the program itself can't produce graph of f'

Pretend that you don't have any graphing software. How would you find the important parts of the graph to be able to graph it?
