    Eulers Method

Hi Can someone please help with this...
"Use Euler's method to find an approximate value of y(2.8), if y(x) is the solution to y'(y/x), and y(2) = 3. Use h = 0.2."

It is an extension question i my text book which no one in my class seems to be able to answer (including the teacher)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Re: Eulers Method

For y'=f(x,y),\;y(x_0)=y_0 , use the corresponding recurrence formula y_{n+1}=y_n+hf(x_n,y_n).

    I suppose your equation is y'=y/x (you forgot the equality sign) . So (x_0,y_0)=(2,3) , (x_1,y_1)=(2.2\;,\;3+0.2(3/2))=\ldots etc. Then y(2.8)\approx y_4 .
