    Absolute Maximum answer check

    Please check my answer on absolute maximums.

    f ( x)= x^3+1 has an absolute maximum on [–1, 1] of.

    I put 1(one), is that correct?

    No.

    It does have an absolute maximum at x=1, but that's not what the maximum is.
