How do I integrated y=1/x ?
Hi, how would I find the area bounded by the curve y=1/x between 1 and 5? Surely when you integrate y=1/x dx = 0?

It's a standard integral: $\int \dfrac{dx}{x} = \ln |x| + C = \log_e |x| + C$.

$\ln{x} = \int_1^x \frac{1}{t} \, dt$
