    change of base?

    I am just learning Log equations

    How does 4^x^2 *2^3^x=4

    become X= \frac{1}{2}, 2

    I assume it's 4^{x^2}\cdot2^{3x}=4. This is equivalent to
    (2^2)^{x^2}\cdot2^{3x}=2^2
    2^{2x^2}\cdot2^{3x}=2^2
    2^{2x^2+3x}=2^2
    2x^2+3x=2
