Math Help - Differentiate 2sqrt{t} - 6/sqrt{t}

    Differentiate 2sqrt{t} - 6/sqrt{t}

    I changed it to 2(t)^(1/2) - 6/(t^(1/2))

    f'(t) = t^(-1/2) - 6/((1/2)(t^(-1/2))


    f'(t) = t^(-1/2) -12t^(-1/2)


    my final answer is wrong, please explain.
