Thread: Double Integrals (polar coordinate)

Hey there.. i try to solve the question below..
but.. i still didn't get the answer given by my lecturer..
the answer should be.. pi/4(e - 1)

where did i do wrong?

changing into polar coordinates we get

(integral 0 to pi/2) (integral 0 to 1) re^(r^2) dr d(theta)

solving it you get required
