    Is it possible to solve these equations?

    Is it possible to solve any of these equations?

    x = A[1-\cos (\omega t)]-\frac{Bt^{2}}{2}
    (Find t(x))

    A\cos (2\tau )-B(\cos \tau -\tau \sin \tau )=0
    (Find \tau )

    The Taylor Series expansion of cos(wt) may produce acceptable results.

    Numerica methods, given specific values of A and B, certainly would produce acceptable results.

    Yes, I don't have numerical values for A and B, but since \omega t is between 0 and pi/2 I think the Taylor expansion is a good one.
