    Expanding Expressions

The questions asks to expand the following expressions? I don't understand what to do.

    (a) Sin(6*pi*t + pi/3)Sin(4*pi*t)

    (b) Sin^2(2*pi*t +pi/3)

    Thanks in advance.

We need more context, I think. I could think of at least two ways to "expand" that expression. One would be to use the addition-of-angles formulas. The other would be to expand in a Taylor series. Any clues as to what kind of expansion the problem asker has in mind?
