Looking for an introduction to Calculus text for a friend

A good friend of mine is interested in teaching himself upper level mathematics. Unfortunately, he has never taken a course above Pre-calculus. He doesn't have enough money to attend classes at the local university, so he asked if I would be able to recommend a book he could take out of the library, since I am beginning my graduate studies in math this fall. From talking to him, he seems to learn best when he can visualize the nature of the mathematical phenomena, so I was hoping someone could recommend an introductory calculus text that is heavy with geometric interpretations when describing the course content. I looked at several texts, and I suggested a few candidates, but if anyone knows of a book they believe fits the bill, I would be most obliged.
