Thread: Boundary Condition causes DE to become Undetermined

I have the following DE:

h' + [(1+x)/x]*h = 0

with the following BC:

h(0)=A

How do I apply this BC to this problem?

The general solution is ...

h(x)= c exp(-x)/x (1)

... and that means that the BC h(0)=A can be 'imposed' only if is A=0 and in that case is h(x)=0...
