    Finding the equation of a tangent plane to a surface.

    Hi all, I'm stuck on this differential calculus question and would really appreciate some help...

    Find the equation of the tangent plane to he surface
    z = cos(x+y) + 1 at (0,0,2)

    All you have done is state a problem. Please either post some of your own work on these problems or explain what you do not understand about the question.

    If F(x,y,z)=\cos(x+y)-z+1 then what is \nabla F~?
    What has that to do with this problem?
