1. ## integral test help

i was given the series

(1)/sqrt(n+2)

1.) yes its decreasing, continuous, and positive

after integrating and performing U substitution i end up getting the following

(-2/3)[ (1) / ((x+2)^(3/2)) ] - upper limit = infinite,,,,,,lower limit = 1

i am getting a constant value from the integral test...so then it would converge...but somehow this is suppose to diverge. Any help is greatly appreciated! thx

2. The integral is $2\sqrt{x + 2}$...
