    Is this answer right - Derivatives

    y=5x+6 /sqrt[x]

    answer

    y=5x+6-5sqrt[x] / 2sqrt[x](sqrt[x])^2


    is it right if no can you show me what i did wrong

    As you did not show any steps I cant say where you went wrong, but here is a hint to get you started. Note that

    \displaystyle y=\frac{5x+6}{\sqrt{x}}=5x^{\frac{1}{2}}+6x^{-\frac{1}{2}}

    Now use the power rule
