1. ## Simple integration problem

Firstly sorry for the thread title, please suggest a something better if you can...

I have this very simple (looking) integration problem that I just cant seem to fathom.

Any of the rules/methods that I can think of using dont seem to fit this problem e.g. substitution, partial fractions or parts

$2(x-2)/(x-1)$

2. Write it as:

$2\displaystyle\int(\frac{x-1}{x-1}-\frac{1}{x-1}) dx$

3. algebra! should of known.. my brain has turned to mush from doing integration all day! Thank you
