Thread: Maximum of Function with three variables

Hello

I have a function with three variables and i need to find the maximum. So far i got the three partial derivatives which i set to 0. How can i find now whether the found point is a maximum, minimum or saddlepoint? Do you have by chance a link to a site explaining that well?
