Could anyone please help me with this problem, I having a hard time factoring it. Here it is:

Find the General Solution of the following:

y^(3)+ y'' - y' - y = 0 or r^(3) + r ^(2) - r - 1 =0

$k(k^2-1)+(k^2-1)=0$

$(k^2-1)(k+1)=0$
