    Question Infinite limits

    Where does the function f(x)=1/sqrt(x-1) have infinite limits?

    I am not exactly sure what I'm looking for here at all...would like some help please.

    Infinite limits occur where there are vertical asymptotes. In this case, where the denominator is 0. The denominator is 0 at x = +/-1.
