Thread: Power series with more complex exponents

I was wondering if a power series could have an exponent other than n (or n + c). In the problem I am working on, I am trying to find out whether the following series corresponds to a particular function. If anyone could give me a hint in the direction of finding the function (supposing it is possible), it would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

First what you gave IS NOT a power series.
