I got (10/3)x^(2/3)-(25/3)x^((5/3)) What am I doing wrong here??

By the way, you can use [tex] [/math] to format latex equations, which will make things easier.

exponents are fine ... how did you arrrive at 10/3 and 25/3 as coefficients for each respective term?

One thing you are doing wrong is that your result is not at all general!
