How do I find the derivative of X^(3/4) I have used a program to look but I don't understand these things -- can anyone help me? I will make it up to you
You can use the power rule: $\displaystyle f(x)=x^n$ so $\displaystyle f'(x)=nx^{n-1}$.
Here your $\displaystyle n=\frac{3}{4}$ so you have $\displaystyle \frac{3}{4}x^{\frac{3}{4}-1}$ which is $\displaystyle \frac{3}{4}x^{\frac{-1}{4}}$.
This can be simplified to $\displaystyle \frac{3}{4x^{\frac{1}{4}}}$ or $\displaystyle \frac{3}{4\sqrt[4]{x}}$.
