The Fourier Series of sin(x) is sin(x).

The Fourier series of a 'full wave rectified' f(x)= |\sin x|, -\pi<x<\pi is...

    \displaystyle f(x)= \frac{2}{\pi} - \frac{4}{\pi}\ (\frac{\cos 2x}{1\ 3} + \frac{\cos 4 x}{3\ 5} + \frac{\cos 6 x}{5\ 7}+ ...) (1)

    Kind regards
