AP Calculus Homework Help
I really need help with this problem. I'm totally lost. The question states: Let f be a function defined on the clolsed interval -3<=x<=4 with f(0) =3. The graph of f', the derivative of f, consists of one line segment adn a semicircle.

a). On what intervals, if any, is f increaing?
b). Find the x-coordinates of each point of inflection of the graph of f on the open interval -3< x<4
c). Find an equation for the line tangent to the graph of f at the point (0,3)
d). Find f(-3) and f(4).

If anyone knows how to do this or even know how to get started, could you please let me know. Thanks. :confused:

I need to see the graph. Are you able to provide a picture?
If not can you be more specific were how the graph looks like, i.e. which points, lines...?

1)f is increasing where the derivative is positive. Thus, for the value of x where your graph (line and circle) are above the x-axis it is increasing.
The other three I need the graph for.
