Describe region of translated sphere
Question:

Describe the region given by the sphere in spherical coordinates:

(x-1)^2+(y-1)^2+(z-1)^2=4

Thoughts:

1. I know this is a sphere with radius 2 centered at (1,1,1).

2. I know the region of this sphere already^^^.

Question:

How do I describe the region in terms of rho, phi, and theta? I don't mind if you give me the answer, but I want a way to visualize the way rho, phi, and theta change from the unit sphere, so I can figure out similar problems. Thanks!

ps: the original thread should have said "i know the region of the unit sphere" not "the region of this sphere already".

$x= \rho cos(\theta)sin(\phi)$
$y= \rho sin(\theta)sin(\phi)$
$z= \rho cos(\theta)$.

Replace x, y, and z with those.
