    Question Find the volume

    Find the volume of the described solid S: a pyramid with height h and base an equilateral triangle with side a(a tetrahedron).

    Use the formula:

    Volume = \frac13 \times \text{height} \times \text{base area}

    Unknown008 gives a formula but that's probably not how you are intended to do this problem. What have you done on this yourself? Have you tried approximating the solid by slices parallel to the base?
