    The slope of the tangent to curve y =tanx at the point X=pi/4 = ..

    Hi all

    many questions like this come in exam but i can't solve it correctly

    The slope of the tangent to curve y =tanx at the point X=pi/4 = ..

    my answer is 0.785.............

    Your answer is what you get when you divide {\pi} by 4.

    You are being asked to write the slope of the tangent.
    Have you covered differentiation at all ?
