    Differentiation

    Can someone remind me how to differentiate step by step, thanks

    xcubed , 1/x , -1/x and (4/xcubed)

    You use the power rule \frac{d}{dx}\left(x^n\right) = nx^{n-1}.

    are you familiar with these rules ?

    power rule ...

    \frac{d}{dx} [x^n] = nx^{n-1}

    konstant multiple rule ...

    \frac{d}{dx} [k \cdot f(x)] = k \cdot f'(x)

    ... or are you supposed to use the definition of a derivative?
