$\displaystyle \frac{4 x^2 + 10 x + 24}{(x - 5)(x^2+4)} = \frac{A}{x - 5} + \frac{B x + C}{x^2+4} $

$\displaystyle 4x^2+10x+24 = A(x^2+4)+(Bx+C)(x-5)$

I was able to find A by: $\displaystyle 170 = A(29), A= 6 $
