Problem with functions and Trignometry
I'am a university student doing first year differential calculas and unfortunately for me, I don't have a very developed base in some portions of this course. I'am currently doing chapter 1 & 2 and I'am having some problems with functions and Trignometry.
Find all values of x in the interval [0; 2pi] that satisfy the equation.
2sin4x + tanx = 1/3
sin8x = 0

The problems in these ones are that even though I believe I'am using the right trig identity, I'am still not getting the answer that is given next to the question. problem (l) is the most complicated in the difference quotient problems.
I just don't know what to do in them. The only one I could get right was d. The root in these questions definitely refer to an inequality, but I really don't know how to solve these and my professor's lectures don't seem to be much of a help.
Strange thing, but the last one was the only one easy enough to try out. The others require some kind of logarithm manipulation that I can't figure out at this point.
