    rate of growth question

    after a particularly harsh winter, the regrowth of a population of rabbits in an area is given by the function P(t)= \frac{500}{1+e^{-t}} where t is time in years. determine the rate of growth in the population after 3 years.

    i get 22.5 rabbits/year can anyone verify this?
