    Substitute $\displaystyle u=2x+1$ so that $\displaystyle dx = \frac{du}{2}$

    Let $\displaystyle u=2x+1$ and then $\displaystyle \displaystyle x=\frac{u-1}{2}~\&~dx=\frac{du}{2}$.
