Thread: Box filter and box function?

Forgive me if this is the incorrect section of the forum for this problem.

The problem is: Is the spectrum of a box filter in time domain also a box function in frequency domain?

no it's not


spectrum of signal is only in frequency domain (amplitude and phase spectrum) but you can reconstruct from spectrum in frequency domain, signal in time domain (and another way around) using Furrier Transformation
