Can anyone care to help me to expain how the f(t) is form into the step function for the graph to be sketch. i dont understand how to form the f(t) equation into the unit-step function. especially the 2nd qns.

I'm not sure what you are asking. In neither case is f(t) the unit step function. Is your question how to graph the two functions?

3. I think his question is asking us to explain how the functions are obtained. And I believe he's refering to the heaviside unit step function.

yes...sorry...i mean how to graph the function. i have the function f(t) and how can i convert to the step... or??? to graph it?
